Job summary

Day's Rental is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Field Engineer to join our Exeter team. You will perform vehicle maintenance at a base workshop and on-site/mobile across an expanding regional branch network.

This role offers a full-time position and company vehicle in Exeter. You will undertake scheduled maintenance, respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and repair vehicles, reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent City & Guilds in vehicle maintenance
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Clean driving licence, ideally with D1 entitlement
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
• Eligible to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle maintenance from a base repair workshop and mobile solution across the regional branch network
• Undertake scheduled maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns
• Diagnose faults
• Repair vehicles and equipment
• Report to Vehicle Maintenance Manager and work as part of a team
