Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited in Exeter is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day operations and maintenance across multiple school sites. You will oversee hard FM services, ensure safety, compliance and operational readiness, and own service issues with practical solutions.

The role requires strong leadership of on-site teams and contractors, experience in risk assessments and PPMs, and a proven track record in multi-site facilities management, ideally within education or related

Qualifications

Experience managing facilities or hard services in a multi-site environment.
Proven ability to lead on-site teams and contractors.
Strong budgeting and procurement capabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide induction training to new starters and ensure PPE/uniform requirements are issued.
Direct line management and leadership of the Caretaking team and address performance promptly.
Ensure safe systems of work are followed and promote safety culture.
Manage HR processes for the team, rota planning, annual leave, attendance, and disciplinary procedures.
Monitor sites to review standards and performance; conduct risk assessments and method statements for contractors.
Oversee budget control and financial reporting for contracted works and ensure timely closing of open actions.
