Job summary

RAC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Patrol division. You will deliver expert mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing your day at home while assisting members on the road.

Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician, plus a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division, you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• You’ll start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside with your technical expertise and outstanding member service.
