Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service, refurbish, repair and maintain powered access equipment at customer sites around Newport. The role includes attending emergency breakdowns and scheduled maintenance to ensure safe, reliable equipment for customers.

You will ideally be CAP registered with experience on brands like Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG, and be adept at fault finding, diagnostics, and reading electrical/hydraulic drawings.

Qualifications

• CAP registration preferred.
• Experience on powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie or JLG is advantageous.
• Experience in estimating repairs with attention to detail.
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic drawings and understand both systems.
• Previous engineering experience with powered access.

Responsibilities

• Service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment at customer sites.
• Attend emergency breakdown calls and scheduled service maintenance.
• Ensure customers use safe and reliable equipment to deliver customer excellence.
• Cover Newport and surrounding areas as part of servicing fleet.
