Job summary

Speedy Hire is hiring a Powered Access Engineer based at our Erith site. You will service, refurbish and repair powered access equipment, ensuring safety and reliability before it goes back on hire.

You’ll work alongside a happy engineering team to keep kit compliant with H&S standards. Ideally CAP registered and experienced with brands like Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG, you’ll also estimate repairs and read electrical/hydraulic drawings to diagnose faults.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing powered access equipment and refurbishment.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose issues on site.
• Able to read electrical/hydraulic drawings for repairs.
• Experience estimating repairs with attention to detail.
• CAP registration is a plus; company will support training.

Responsibilities

• Service, refurbish and repair powered access equipment at the Erith site.
• Ensure safety compliance and health and safety regulations before hire.
• Work with a team of engineers to deliver reliable equipment.
