Job summary
Speedy Services in Newport is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to cover Newport and surrounding areas. You will service, refurbish, repair and maintain powered access equipment at customer sites, attend emergency breakdowns, and carry out scheduled maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
Ideal candidates will be CAP registered (or willing to obtain), with hands-on experience on Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie or JLG gear, strong fault-finding skills and the ability to read electrical and
Qualifications
- CAP registered preferred.
- Experience with powered access equipment (Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG).
- Experience estimating repairs with attention to detail.
- Fault finding and diagnostics experience.
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings.
- Previous powered access engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment at customer sites.
- Attend emergency breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance.
- Ensure customers use safe and reliable equipment and deliver customer excellence.
