Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join a growing national engineering provider. The role focuses on servicing, maintaining and repairing MEWP equipment across customer sites with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

You will work Monday to Friday, with overtime paid at higher rates, and will receive a company van, fuel card, and ongoing training. There are clear progression opportunities and a pension plan available.

Qualifications

• Experience with powered access machinery and strong fault-finding capabilities.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Willingness to work field-based, visit customer sites and service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance, servicing and repair of powered access equipment.
• Visit customer sites and attend breakdowns.
• Carry out inspections and ensure equipment is safe and compliant.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join a growing national engineering provider. Working on a wide range of equipment, including MEWPs, van mounts and forklifts, they are looking for experienced engineers with a strong powered access background and a valid CAP licence.

About the Role – Mobile Powered Access Engineer

As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer, you will be field-based, responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of powered access equipment at customer sites.

Your duties will include:

• Routine maintenance, servicing and repair of powered access equipment
• Visiting customer sites and attending breakdowns
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Carrying out PDI inspections on new and returned hire equipment
• Completing LOLER inspections
• Ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant and ready for hire

What You’ll Need to Succeed as a Mobile Powered Access Engineer

• Previous experience working on powered access machinery
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• A passion for delivering high standards of service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid IPAF and CAP licences (essential)
• NVQ qualification or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience as a Mobile Powered Access Engineer (essential)
