Job summary

Speedy Hire is recruiting a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to cover Bristol and surrounding areas. You will service, refurbish, repair and maintain powered access equipment at customers' sites, attend emergency breakdowns and carry out scheduled maintenance to keep equipment safe and reliable.

Hours are 07:30–17:00, Monday to Friday, with a 4.5 day week and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, life assurance and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• CAP registration preferred.
• Experience working on powered access equipment (Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG).
• Experience in estimating repairs with attention to detail.
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics.
• Able to read electrical and hydraulic drawings.

Responsibilities

Mobile Powered Access Engineer - Bristol - Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 17:00 - 4.5 Day Week

As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer covering Bristoland surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of our powered access equipment based at our customers sites. We offer our customers the highest level of care, therefore this role will involve attending emergency breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance. You will ensure that our customers are using safe and reliable equipment so that they can count on us to deliver customer excellence.

What youll need:

• Ideally be CAP registered
• Previous experience in working on powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG would be an advantage
• Experience in estimating repairs to be carried out with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics
• Able to read electrical / hydraulic drawings, understanding both systems
• Previous engineering experience within powered access
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver.
