Job summary

Speedy Hire in Bristol is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service, refurbish and repair powered access equipment at customer sites. You will respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance to ensure safe, reliable equipment for our customers.

Ideally CAP registered with experience on Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG, plus fault finding and reading electrical/hydraulic drawings. Travel across Bristol and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• CAP registration preferred.
• Experience working on powered access equipment (Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG).
• Experience in estimating repairs with attention to detail.
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics.
• Able to read electrical and hydraulic drawings.
• Experience in powered access engineering.

Responsibilities

• Service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment.
• Attend emergency breakdown calls and scheduled service maintenance.
• Ensure safe and reliable equipment for customers.

Mobile Powered Access Engineer - Bristol - Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 17:00 - 4.5 Day Week

As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer covering Bristoland surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of our powered access equipment based at our customer’s sites. We offer our customers the highest level of care, therefore this role will involve attending emergency breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance. You will ensure that our customers are using safe and reliable equipment so that they can count on us to deliver customer excellence.

What You’ll Need

• Ideally be CAP registered
• Previous experience in working on powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG would be an advantage
• Experience in estimating repairs to be carried out with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics
• Able to read electrical / hydraulic drawings, understanding both systems
• Previous engineering experience within powered access
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
