GAP Group Limited is seeking a Mobile Fitter for our Plant & Tool division. Based from a home depot, you will service, maintain, and repair a fleet of heavy equipment, both at depots and on customer sites, ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plant mechanic/fitter with a time-served background or relevant qualification.
• Solid, up-to-date knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance and diagnostics.
• Full valid driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a wide range of plant and tool equipment within the GAP fleet.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently at depots and on customer sites.
• Completing servicing, inspections and repairs to maintain safety and reliability.
• Updating service records, tagging equipment, and handling test certificates and paperwork.
• Working independently on customer sites while complying with Health & Safety requirements.
