Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our client’s team in Gloucester. You’ll service, maintain and repair construction and agricultural machinery across customer sites, with workshop support when needed.

The role offers an attractive salary up to £41,000 plus overtime, a company van and ongoing training, with clear opportunities for long-term progression in a varied field-based position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or similar.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience working with construction or agricultural machinery.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and diagnostics.
• An engineering qualification or apprenticeship is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction and agricultural machinery.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carrying out breakdown repairs at customer sites.
• Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Identifying further repair requirements and discussing these with customers.
• Completing service documentation and job sheets.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Providing professional customer service

Mobile Plant Fitter - Gloucester | Up to £41,000 + Overtime + Van

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business covering Gloucester and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a varied field-based role, with ongoing training, good benefits and long-term development.

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you'll visit customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs across a range of construction and agricultural machinery. You'll also have workshop support when required and the opportunity to broaden your technical experience.
