Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to cover Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs on construction and agricultural machinery, with a van provided and overtime opportunities.

You will visit customer sites, work with workshop support when needed, and have access to ongoing training and a clear path for career progression, with a generous holiday allowance and pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or Agricultural Engineer
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
• Experience with construction or agricultural machinery
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and diagnostics
• Ability to work independently and manage breakdowns effectively
• Full UK driving licence
• An engineering qualification or apprenticeship is desirable

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction and agricultural machinery
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Carrying out breakdown repairs at customer sites
• Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Identifying further repair requirements and discussing with customers

Mobile Plant Fitter - Cambridgeshire | Up to £37,500 + Overtime + Van

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business covering Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a varied field-based role, with ongoing training, strong benefits and long-term development.

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you'll visit customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs across a range of construction and agricultural machinery. You'll also have workshop support when required and the opportunity to broaden your technical experience.
