Job summary

Platinum-Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to cover Maidenhead and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on construction and agricultural machinery, with workshop support when needed and opportunities to broaden technical experience.

You will visit client sites, perform breakdown repairs, and complete service documentation. Excellent earnings potential with overtime and a company van provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Fitter or Agricultural Engineer.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience with construction or agricultural machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to manage breakdowns independently.
• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship desirable.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction and agricultural machinery.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carrying out breakdown repairs at customer sites.
• Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Identifying further repair requirements and discussing with customers.

Mobile Plant Fitter – Maidenhead | Up to £41,000 + Overtime + Van

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business covering Maidenhead and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a varied field-based role, with ongoing training, good benefits and long-term development.

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you’ll visit customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs across a range of construction and agricultural machinery. You’ll also have workshop support when required and the opportunity to broaden your technical experience.
