Job summary

Horizon Parking Ltd is seeking a Mobile Patrol Officer to patrol and monitor car parks in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. You will uphold professional standards, issue notices when required, and provide excellent customer service while keeping sites tidy and safe.

We offer £13.10 per hour, a company car, a bonus scheme, pension salary sacrifice, sick pay, and additional benefits. The role is 40 hours per week across five days with some weekend work.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence.
• Good verbal and listening communications skills.
• Basic IT literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and from allocated sites within visit cycles as required.
• Patrol and monitor car parks, keeping the area tidy and safe.
• Maintain a professional image when dealing with third parties.
• Issue Parking Charge Notices in line with terms and signage.
• Restock machines with tickets and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance of kiosks and replenish consumables.
• Improve accessibility for all site users.
• Help manage misuse of parking facilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance when required.
• Follow health and safety policies and safe working practices.
• Carry out any other tasks as required.

Salary: GBP13.1 - GBP13.1 per hour

What are we looking for?

- A reliable and trustworthy Mobile Patrol Officer, to work inAberdeen & its surrounding areas

- 40 hours per week, spread out over any 5 days of the week (will include some weekend working)

-Aqualified driver who must be able to meet the Highway Code eyesight test requirements. Candidates must be able to read a vehicle number plate from a distance of 20 metres (65 feet) in good daylight, as stipulated by UK legislation. This is to ensure that all our drivers can perform their duties safely and in compliance with legal standards.

What will we expect in return?

• Travel to and from allocated sites within visit cycles provided, and/or as required.
• Patrol and monitor car parks, ensuring the car park is tidy and clean at all times.
• Maintain a professional image when dealing with third parties.
• Issue Parking Charge Notices as and when required, in line with the contraventions set out in the terms and conditions signage within the car park.
• Restock machines with tickets, undertake minor repairs and maintenance of machines and report any faults to the Line Manager.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replenishment of consumables within payment and validation kiosks.
• Improve accessibility for all site users.
• Management of abuse of parking facilities.
• Provide excellent customer services and assist customers as and when required.
• Carry out duties in line with company health and safety policies and follow safe working practices.
• Carry out any other tasks and instructions as and when required.
