Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team to perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance on Plant, Equipment and Building Services.

The role involves identifying risks, updating drawings, performing fault finding on machinery, and providing expertise in heavy industrial equipment and overhead cranes. Overtime, safety documentation and CAFM system usage are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time-served apprenticeship.
• NVQ Level 2 in Electrical & Mechanical.
• City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition.
• City & Guilds Mechanical qualifications to an acceptable standard.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to client via equipment on site; update drawings; identify critical spares; improve performance and preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain production environment using new equipment; liaise with client for PPM requirements.
• Fault find on all types of machinery; support Health and Safety within the dept.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise for heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
• Write and follow Risk Assessments; ensure compliance with permits and documentation.
• Work on Three Phase Systems up to 440V; work on motors, gearboxes, valves; hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems.
• Utilise CAFM system to project and complete works; plan daily work via emails/calendars.
• Liaise with Site Services to manage building services issues; deputise Shift Leader during absence.
• Overtime may be required, including nights/weekends; perform adhoc duties as needed.
