Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer in Birmingham to perform Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services. The role involves risk assessment, PPM updates, fault-finding, and supporting the maintenance team with Health and Safety requirements.

You will work with three-phase systems up to 440V, motors, gearboxes, valves, hydraulics and pneumatics, and use CAFM to plan tasks. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship.
• Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical qualifications to a minimum (City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2, 17th Edition).
• Mechanical qualifications to an acceptable standard (City & Guilds).
• Multi-skilled with experience on 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
• Able to fault find across systems.
• PLC diagnostics/repair competencies.
• NVQ Level 2 Electrical & Mechanical.
• Ability to supervise contractors.
• Ability to write Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
• Able to understand and write Permits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks on site equipment and update drawings.
• Perform Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services.
• Fault find on various machinery and support others in Health and Safety.
• Provide Electrical/Mechanical expertise to maintenance on heavy industrial machines.
• Complete required documentation per rules and legislation.
• Work on 3-phase systems up to 440V and on motors, gearboxes, valves, hydraulics and pneumatics.
