Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to perform Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services across client sites in the UK. The role involves identifying risks, updating drawings, and continously improving the preventative maintenance program.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship, strong experience in manufacturing maintenance, and qualifications including City & Guilds 17th Edition.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or time served in maintenance
• Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance
• Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition (City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2)
• Mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds)
• Good multi skilled ability
• Experience on 3-phase motors, drives and inverters
• Hydraulic / Pneumatic experience
• Ability to fault find
• PLC diagnostics / repair competencies
• NVQ Level 2 Electrical & Mechanical
• Ability to supervise contractors
• Ability to write Risk Assessments and Permits

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through equipment on site and update drawings
• Improve and implement the preventative maintenance program
• Fault finding on all types of machinery
• Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to Heavy Industrial Machines and Overhead Cranes
• Write and follow Risk Assessments and Permits
• Work on Three Phase Systems up to 440V
• Operate on Motors, Gearboxes, Valves with Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Systems
• Use CAFM maintenance system to plan and record work
• Liaise with onsite Site Services to manage Building Services issues
• Be the responsible person when required for the department and deputise the Shift Leader during leave or sickness
• Overtime may be required including nights and weekends
• Perform adhoc duties as required
