Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer in Sheffield to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services. You will work on heavy industrial machinery and overhead cranes.

The role requires a recognised apprenticeship, strong maintenance experience, and ability to fault find on three-phase systems up to 440V. You will liaise with clients, write risk assessments, and support safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time-served engineering apprenticeship.
• Manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Electrical qualifications up to 17th Edition (City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2) or equivalent.
• Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds standard.
• Able to supervise contractors.
• Ability to fault find on complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks to the client through site equipment and update drawings.
• Maintain plant and building services using new equipment and technologies.
• Fault find on all types of machinery.
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the Maintenance Department.
• Write risk assessments and follow permits.
