Job summary

AFI-Rentals is looking for a MEWPS Engineer to service and repair a fleet of powered access machines from the Peterborough depot. You will perform PDIs, servicing, LOLER inspections, and manufacturer updates while upholding our corporate image.

You will attend customer site breakdowns across the East region, record checks on a PDA, and work closely with engineering and hire office to keep machines available. A valid IPAF is required, with NVQ Level 2 in plant maintenance or equivalent.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in plant maintenance or equivalent required.
• Good communication and diagnostics skills.
• Experience with PDI, servicing and LOLER inspections.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), servicing, LOLER inspections, repairs and manufacturer updates while maintaining fleet image.
• Attend breakdowns on customer sites and ensure quick resolution.
• Record all checks on a PDA following company procedures.
• Communicate with engineering and hire office to maximise machine availability at the depot.
