Job summary

Selwood Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a Mobile Fitter to perform mechanical pump maintenance at customer sites and within the branch. The role requires being part of a call-out rota with standby allowances and overtime payments.

Base salary £38,515 with potential earnings up to £53,334. The position includes overtime, call-out payments, and other allowances depending on overtime availability and commitments, with interview details to clarify these terms.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) or relevant work experience.
• Experience with engines or mechanical engineering background and diagnosing issues.
• Experience in plant environments, on-site with customers and in a workshop is beneficial.
• Able to listen, digest information, and translate to practical solutions.
• Willing to grow in the role and pursue training opportunities.
• Full UK driving licence (6 points or less) as site visits are required.

Responsibilities

• Work safely as a priority with knowledge of PPE requirements.
• Communicate accurately with colleagues and customers.
• Obtain signatures/names from sites to ensure task processing.
• Maintain housekeeping of work areas and vehicles.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports to ensure safety.
• Carry out tasks as instructed or per training in a timely manner.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
