Job summary

Selwood is seeking a Mobile Fitter to join the Edinburgh branch, covering the surrounding region. You will perform mechanical pump maintenance at customer sites and within the branch. The role involves being part of a call-out rota with standby allowance and overtime payments.

Base salary £38,515 with potential earnings up to £44,824; overtime and call-out payments apply. A full UK driving licence (6 points or less) is required, with training opportunities and potential for overtime work.

Qualifications

• PPE knowledge is critical for safe operations.
• Strong communication with colleagues and customers is required.
• You must obtain signatures/names from sites for task processing.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in work areas and vehicles.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports to ensure safety.
• Perform tasks per instructions or training in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate understanding of company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical pump maintenance at customer sites and in-branch as needed.
• Work safely as a priority and adhere to PPE requirements.
• Be able to communicate accurately with work colleagues and customers alike.
• Ensure signatures/names are obtained to process tasks smoothly.
• Keep vehicles and work areas clean and well-organized.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports to maintain safety.
• Carry out tasks as instructed or trained, promptly.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
