Job summary

Selwood Limited in Weymouth is seeking a Mobile Fitter to join the team, covering the surrounding region. The role involves pump maintenance at the Weymouth branch and client sites, with an on-call rota and standby allowance plus overtime.

The base salary is £38,515 with potential earnings up to £47,783. Overtime, call-out payments and other allowances may apply; details explained during interview.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with engines or a mechanical engineering background.
• Experience in a plant environment, on site with customers.
• Full UK driving license (6 points or less).

Responsibilities

• Work safely with PPE knowledge as a priority.
• Communicate accurately with colleagues and customers.
• Obtain site signatures and names for task processing.
• Maintain housekeeping of work areas and vehicles.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports for safety.
• Carry out tasks as instructed or trained, timely.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Education
