Selwood Limited is seeking a Mobile Fitter for our Bedford branch to carry out mechanical pump maintenance at customer sites and in-branch when needed. The role includes a call-out rota with standby allowance and overtime payments.

Base salary £42,550, with potential earnings up to £65,500. Benefits include a company van, overtime pay, 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with engines or a mechanical engineering background.
• Experience on site with customers and in a workshop beneficial.
• Full UK driving license (6 points or less).

Responsabilités

• Carry out mechanical pump maintenance at customer sites.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
• Obtain signatures and names from sites to process tasks.
• Keep work areas and vehicles clean and in good order.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports for safety.
• Carry out tasks per instructions or training in a timely manner.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
