Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to service and maintain heating and plumbing systems across commercial sites in the West Midlands, including Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance on a Midlands Mobile contract with potential progression opportunities.

The salary ranges up to £40,000, with overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A recognised industry qualification will be required.
• C&G Level 3 Plumbing desirable.
• Must have a full drivers’ licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Mechanical works in a commercial setting, including general plumbing, boilers, heating systems, domestic hot and cold-water systems etc.
• Cover numerous sites that fall within the contract.
• Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the PDA to log start/wait/stop completion and travel times with appropriate comments to evidence completion of work
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator
• Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times
• Take part in the on call rota
