CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to cover West Midlands, carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings.

The role involves servicing, repairing and installing heating systems and plumbing works at various properties, with on-call duties and a 40k salary. You will work Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 with potential travel across the Midlands.

Qualifications

• A recognised industry qualification is required and previous experience is essential.
• C&G Level 3 Plumbing desirable.
• Must have a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical works in a commercial setting, including boilers, heating systems, and plumbing.
• Cover multiple sites within the contract.
• Log PPM and reactive works using the PDA, with comments to evidence completion.
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks.
• Participate in the on-call rota.

Mobile Mechanical Engineer - £38,000 - £40,000 - West Midlands

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to cover West Midlands, carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings. The role is working on the Midlands Mobile contract. The majority of the work will be based in the West Midlands covering Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent but it will also cover other parts of the Midlands. The successful candidate should have experience of mobile Mechanical Engineer positions in FM and have a strong understanding of servicing, repairing, and installing heating systems and plumbing works at various commercial properties.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out Mechanical works in a commercial setting, including general plumbing, boilers, heating systems, domestic hot and cold-water systems etc.
• Cover numerous sites that fall within the contract
• Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the PDA to log start/wait/stop completion and travel times with appropriate comments to evidence completion of work
• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator
• Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times
• Take part in the on call rota

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 Call out (TBC)
