Job summary

RAC is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Technician in its SMR Division. You will work on planned, scheduled repair and servicing tasks for members, driving locally within the Maidstone cluster to deliver quality work at pre-booked appointments.

The role offers a base salary of £40,178 with on-target earnings up to £52,000, guaranteed overtime to increase your base pay, and a 40-hour week from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with occasional Saturdays (1 in 4).

There are no emergency callouts, no unpredictable shift patterns and noroadside recoveries. Instead, you’ll work through a scheduled list ofjobs, with the time, tools and support you need to do quality work.

Where you’ll work

You’ll be part of the Maidstone cluster, covering areas like Maidstone, Medway (Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester, Strood), Sittingbourne, Sheerness, Snodland.
