Job summary

JLL in South Yorkshire is hiring a Mobile Maintenance Technician to carry out planned and reactive maintenance of building fabric and facilities. You will use CAFM and PDA systems to log work orders and coordinate with subcontractors.

The role requires weekend flexibility and an on-call rota; you will inspect and repair plumbing, carpentry, water hygiene, and ensure health, safety, and quality compliance while delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Fabric Engineer apprenticeship/Carpentry & Joinery qualifications or similar.
• Proficiency with PDA and CAFM systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to time constraints.
• Customer-focused with professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance using JLL's CAFM system
• Conduct regular inspections and repairs on building fabric/facilities
• Perform basic plumbing, drainage, water hygiene, painting, and carpentry tasks
• Engage with specialist subcontractors and maintain accurate site records
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation
• Report issues accurately and escalation when required
