Job summary

JLL in London is hiring a Static Maintenance Engineer to deliver reactive maintenance and support the Millennium Management LLC London facility. You will execute PPM tasks, oversee electrical and basic mechanical works, and maintain building services equipment to minimise downtime.

The role requires extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems, HVAC, and building fabric, plus strong safety discipline and the ability to work with minimal supervision and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of commercial electrical systems in office environments.
• Experience with HVAC, building fabric, and basic repairs.
• Strong safety compliance and practical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reactive maintenance and repairs across the London facility with minimal downtime.
• Execute planned maintenance schedules including emergency lighting, fire alarms, and testing.
• Perform electrical maintenance: wiring faults, lighting, sockets, and BMS troubleshooting.
• Conduct mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and fabric maintenance tasks.
• Update and close work orders in CAFM; maintain site log books for compliance.
• Produce technical reports on remedial works and issue appropriate certifications.
• Develop site-specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments; adhere to safety policies.
• Provide emergency on-call coverage and collaborate with trades and CPD activities.
