Job summary

Pareto Facilities Management is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical/plumbing bias to service a portfolio of client sites across the South. The role covers PPM, reactive repairs and fault diagnosis on HVAC, boilers, pumps and drainage, with a mobile team and support for static sites when needed.

The ideal candidate will have City & Guilds Level 2/3 Plumbing, strong building services knowledge and a focus on safety, quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Plumbing qualification is required.
• Experience in a commercial building services/FM maintenance environment.
• Strong experience with PPM, reactive maintenance and fault finding.
• Good practical knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across client sites.
• Maintain, repair and fault-find mechanical, plumbing and associated building services.
• Undertake maintenance and first-line diagnostics across boilers, pumps, ventilation, low‑pressure hot water systems, pressurisation systems and drainage.
• Respond to BMS alarms and use building systems for fault diagnosis.
• Carry out plant start-up, shutdown, changeover and routine checks.
• Ensure statutory PPM is completed within required timescales.
