Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team and cover Barnstaple, Bude and Bideford. This permanent, full-time post offers a £30K salary and a 40-hour week, with travel time paid after half an hour each way and opportunities for OT on weekends.

You will perform non-technical repairs, support PPM schedules, and assist with planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Non-technical repairs and minor PPMs.
• Assist in planned and reactive maintenance, electrical and mechanical plant works across sites within the designated region.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales.
• Respond to service calls from Helpdesk and assess requirements to carry out repairs.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance within agreed timescales.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and serviceable at all times.

Mobile Maintenance Technician

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Technician

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

Qualifications & Experience – Mobile Maintenance Technician

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) – Preferrable
• Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment
