Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to cover Barnstaple, Bude and Bideford on a permanent basis. You will carry out non-technical repairs, PPMs, and support planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant across multiple sites.

The role offers a 40-hour week, £30K salary, travel time paid after half an hour each way, and OT. Benefits include a company pension (matched up to 5%), private healthcare (BUPA) and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) – Preferrable
• Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with maintenance work.
• Complete PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure paperwork is completed.
• Respond to service calls from Helpdesk and assess and carry out required repairs.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repairs within agreed timescales.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and serviceable at all times.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Technician

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.
