Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team in the South Birmingham/Warwickshire region. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role involves carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPMs, and assisting with planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance within a commercial/retail environment.
• Ability to carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete PPMs and reactive maintenance within timescales and with proper paperwork.
• Respond to service call requests from Helpdesk and assess repair requirements.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance within agreed timescales.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available and serviceable.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM's. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities Mobile Maintenance Technician

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

Qualifications & Experience Mobile Maintenance Technician

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) Preferrable
• Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment

• 40 hour week
• Travel time paid after half hour each way
• OT paid at 1.5x Mon Fri / 2x Sat-Sun
