Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Engineer with NVQ Level 3 or C&G 1 and 2.
• Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial sites.

Job description

Mobile Maintenance Electrician
Solihull/Birmingham/Leamington Spa/occasional travel to sites in the North
£37,000 - £40,000 per annum plus van

We are recruiting for a mobile maintenance electrician to provide maintenance and small works services to sites mainly across the West Midlands, with occasional travel to sites in the North. You will be expected to have good knowledge of FM disciplines and building services on commercial sites. This is a permanent position paying £37,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.

Your main duties will include (but are not limited to):

1. Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:
2. Electrical systems
3. Lighting and emergency lighting
4. Controls and BMS
5. Basic Plumbing maintenance
6. AHU/fan coil upkeep
7. Fabric duties
8. Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temperatures, etc.
9. Small works installation
10. Emergency repairs
11. All ad-hoc maintenance tasks

Requirements:

1. A qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or C&G 1 and 2)
2. 17th/18th edition
3. Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
4. Excellent client-facing skills
5. Valid driving license
6. Willingness to complete fabric, plumbing, and mechanical tasks including AHU and fan coil works
7. Requirement to join the call-out rota down the line (£150 standby and minimum 4 hours if called out)
