Job summary

South Eastern Regional College is seeking a Mobile Library Assistant for the Lisburn Campus during term time. The role supports the Library Manager in running Library Centres, with duties spanning customer service, administration, and library system use.

Required: 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, ICT level 2 (ECDL) or 2+ years of office experience, and a valid driving licence with access to transport to meet duties at the campus.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs (A-C) including English Language & Mathematics.
• Level 2 ICT qualification (ECDL) or equivalent; OR 2+ years experience using MS Office.
• Within last 5 years, 1 year library experience with computerised library system/digital library or 2+ years admin/customer service in an office.
• Hold a current driving licence and have access to a car or transport to fulfil the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the efficient running of the Library Centres under the direct supervision of the Library Manager.
• Support daily library operations and provide customer-facing assistance and administration.
