Job summary

Hydraquip is seeking a field-based technician to attend customer sites and replace hydraulic hoses and components. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs safely, and work independently while delivering excellent customer service.

You will update all jobs via the company mobile app and build strong relationships with new and existing customers. A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Confidence dealing directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Attending customer sites to replace hydraulic hoses and components.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.

What we’re looking for

Essential experience

• Experience in hose replacement, plant, HGV, agricultural or mechanical fitting
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Confidence dealing directly with customers

Desirable experience

• Mobile or on‑call engineering experience
• Commercial awareness or customer development experience

This role includes participation in an on‑call rota, typically one week in every four.
