Job summary

Emerging Futures CIC in Manchester is seeking a Floating Support Worker to assist clients with complex needs, assess support requirements, and manage referrals while delivering tenancy sustainment support across the city.

You will work within a specialist floating support team, collaborating with housing, treatment services, local authorities, and partners to reduce evictions and improve access to sustainable housing for vulnerable clients.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering evidence-based interventions for people affected by substance misuse or offending.
• Proven success in tenancy sustainment and building positive community links.
• Keyworker experience managing cases with complex needs, able to work independently.
• Experience collaborating with multiple partnership agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with complex needs, assess support requirements and manage referrals.
• Provide tenancy sustainment guidance to help clients remain housed.
• Work across Manchester with treatment services and housing/community teams.
• Collaborate with Housing Associations, welfare agencies and Local Authority to access resources.
