Job summary

Emerging Futures CIC is seeking a Community Support Worker to provide recovery-focused support to people in our services. You will help individuals moving away from drugs and alcohol misuse, homelessness, and transitions from structured treatment back into the community.

The role involves delivering 1-2-1 interventions and group work, building effective partnerships with other services, and supporting clients to attend appointments and engage with treatment options across different sites,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering group work and facilitating sessions.
• Experience working with individuals involved in the Criminal Justice System.
• Ability to collaborate with partner agencies and services.
• Knowledge of issues around drug and alcohol misuse, housing, and social welfare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-2-1 recovery support and group work.
• Engage clients to access treatment options and community activities.
• Work with partner agencies to coordinate support.
• Attend appointments with clients and flexibility for evenings/weekends.
