Job summary

Depaul UK in Middlesbrough is seeking a Housing Management Worker (Floating) to support clients with complex needs, sustain tenancies, and connect people to essential services for stability and growth.

You will interview and assess clients, plan and deliver a programme of work, visit regularly, and maintain clear records while safeguarding and coordinating with partners to ensure safe, well-managed accommodation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable people and safeguarding awareness.
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to work full-time and cover shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Interview and assess clients to support tenancy sustainment.
• Develop and implement a programme of work addressing accommodation, independent living and skills.
• Conduct regular home visits and provide practical and emotional support.
• Be the first point of contact for clients, landlords and contractors.
• Coordinate move-on processes and liaise with external services.
• Maintain clear records and provide updates for managers and commissioners.
• Promote safeguarding and ensure safety and wellbeing of clients.
