Job summary

Red Rose Care in Preston is seeking a Home Care Assistant for mornings and evenings, driving between visits and supporting clients in their own homes. You’ll help with personal care, meals, medication and daily tasks, building trusted relationships.

With guaranteed hours ranging from 10 to 20 per week or zero hours if preferred, this role offers a supportive induction, DBS processing and progression into senior positions as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full induction and shadowing provided.
• Must have a full UK driving license and a car for visits.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients at home in Preston and travel between visits by car.
• Assist with personal care, meals, medications and daily activities.
• Provide companionship while promoting comfort, dignity and independence.
