Job summary

Unique Senior Care is seeking a Care Assistant to support clients at home with personal care, companionship, and daily living activities. Roles include early mornings and evenings, with contracted hours up to 30 per week, and mileage paid for travel between clients’ homes.

We offer holiday pay, pension, sleep-in shifts, referrals bonuses, and funded training to progress within care. DBS check is required; full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• A caring, compassionate and reliable nature is essential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Administer medications safely per guidance.
• Provide companionship and encourage wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs.
• Support mobility and transfers as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations.
