Job summary

Delta Care Ltd is seeking a Home Care Assistant to provide personal care, meal preparation, and medication assistance in clients' own homes across Southport and surrounding areas. Roles are available on a part-time and full-time basis with flexible hours to suit your availability.

Full paid training is provided, no prior qualifications required, and opportunities for career progression within the Social Care Sector. Mileage paid and a pension scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• To read and follow the individualized care plan.
• To assist Service Users with getting in and out of bed.
• To provide assistance with washing/bathing and dressing.
• To prepare meals, drinks, and snacks, as and when necessary.
• To provide assistance with toileting and changing clothes, as and when necessary.
• To provide assistance with daily living tasks, including cleaning, shopping, and paying finances.
• To adhere by Delta Care Ltd Health and Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• The role is community-based, providing support and care to individuals in their own homes to enable them to live safely and independently.
• This will also consist of providing personal care, medication assistance, and meal preparation.
