Job summary

Unique Senior Care is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our domiciliary team in the UK. We offer flexible hours: mornings, afternoons or evenings, with contracted up to 30 hours per week and mileage paid.

You will deliver personal care, support with medications, companionship, meals, mobility and light housekeeping, and you will keep accurate care records. A Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required; training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Caring, compassionate and reliable nature.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in care work is desirable but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Administer medications safely as per guidance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs.
• Support mobility and transfers to chairs/wheelchairs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations.
