Job summary

Unique Senior Care is seeking Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across the local area. Roles include full-time or part-time hours up to 30 per week, with early mornings (7am–9am) highlighted as a focus area.

You will deliver personal care, provide companionship, and assist with meals and mobility. Training is provided, with mileage paid and a generous benefits package. DBS checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence, car access and business insurance.
• Right to work in the UK.
• A caring, compassionate and reliable nature.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends and holidays).
• Previous care work desirable but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Administer medications safely as per guidance.
• Provide companionship, emotional support and encourage wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding and dietary needs.
• Support with mobility assistance (transfers to chairs/wheelchairs).
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations.
