Octane Recruitment is seeking a Mobile HGV Technician/Mechanic to cover Oldbury, Birmingham and surrounding areas. Monday to Friday, 8-5, with overtime opportunities and a £1,500 joining bonus. You will service and repair a range of commercial vehicles, prioritising safety and quality ahead of MOT prep.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial vehicles.
• Work on leading manufacturers including Mercedes, Iveco, Ford.
• Ensure vehicles meet high safety and quality standards.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
• Carry out mobile maintenance and repair activities.
• Support workshop operations when required.
• Work closely with an experienced and supportive team.

What We're Looking For / Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working on HGVs
• Full Class 2 UK, Irish, or EU Manual Driving Licence
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• A proactive and detail-focused approach
• Passion for vehicle maintenance and customer service
