Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to service and repair HGVs at customer sites and roadside locations across the East London area.

The role requires Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, a full UK driving licence, and diagnostic fault-finding ability. You’ll work Monday to Friday with no weekend duties, enjoy overtime opportunities, a company van and fuel card, and industry-leading training.

Qualifications

Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience with MOT preparation is desirable.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs and trailers at customer sites and roadside locations.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults using diagnostic equipment.
Complete routine inspections, safety checks and MOT preparation work.
Attend vehicle breakdowns and provide roadside repairs to minimise downtime.
Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.
Deliver excellent customer service while working independently in the field.
