Job summary

Mitie Landscapes is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team working on the Canal & River Trust network in Birmingham. This full-time role covers grass and hedge maintenance, use of vehicles and machinery, and reporting site hazards to the Contracts Manager.

A Full UK Driving Licence is required, and you should be comfortable using smartphone tech for reporting and communications. Join a leading FM company delivering essential outdoor services.

• Providing management with relevant information and reporting as required, including reporting any site hazards.
• Operating all vehicles, machinery and equipment in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Undertaking training as and when required.

Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at the UKs market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be supporting them in ensuring your team deliver the exceptional every day.

You will be working in partnership with Canal & River Trust is the UK's largest canal charity, who care for a 2,000-mile network of stunning canals and navigable rivers.
