Job summary

Dignity Plc is seeking a Mobile Funeral Service Specialist to cover four North West London branches, including Southall, Heston, Isleworth and Slough. You’ll drive between branches weekly with a full UK driving licence, and provide compassionate, personal service to families in their time of need.

Your week will vary with location and demand, requiring empathy, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly to different teams and communities across North West London.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing or advisory roles.
• Willingness to travel between branches.
• Ability to work weekends/bank holidays/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for families, in person, by phone or email.
• Arrange funerals meeting family wishes, cultural practices and legal requirements.
• Build relationships with suppliers, care homes and local community groups.
• Introduce wider services including funeral plans, probate, wills and memorials.
• Keep branches running smoothly: viewings, diaries, payments and funeral records.
• Drive between branches and support multiple locations as needed.
• Experience working directly with the public in a customer-facing or advisory role.
• Demonstrate warmth, empathy and resilience in sensitive situations.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation.
• Adapt to working in different branches and teams, including some weekends.
