Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is seeking a Mobile Funeral Arranger to support families across Crewe and surrounding areas. The role is part-time (18.75 hours/week) with varied shifts from Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, and involves direct client engagement, transportation and personal care of the deceased with professionalism and respect.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Strong numeracy and basic cash handling.
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Empathy, discretion and caring approach.
• Able to move and handle items in a safe manner as trained.
• Comfort with direct contact with the deceased as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet clients and build relationships in the community.
• Support clients in person and by phone, arranging family visits.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work to Funeral Plan Arrangers team.
• Assist with manual handling of coffins and preparation of the deceased.
• Update client management applications with accurate information.
