Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is seeking a Mobile Funeral Arranger to support families across Altrincham, Cadishead, Chorlton, Moss Side, Sale, Urmston and surrounding areas. You will travel to meet clients, arrange visits and ensure a professional, comforting environment within the funeral home, both in person and on the phone.

Full training, a competitive salary of £26,266 per year, pension and staff discounts accompany the role.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is required and you must have access to a vehicle.
• Ability to work independently while travelling to client meetings or managing a branch.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfort with numbers: cash handling, basic discounts, data entry and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet clients and build positive community relationships.
• Support clients in person and over the phone; arrange family visits and answer questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work to the Funeral Plan Arrangers team as required.
• Assist in the care of the deceased and preparation for viewing (training provided).
• Update client management applications with accurate, timely information.
