Kemp Recruitment Ltd in Cumbernauld is recruiting an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to service and repair forklift trucks across Cumbernauld and surrounding areas.

The role requires diagnosing faults, completing safety checks and managing your own workload, with a company van and fuel card provided. A full UK driving licence and relevant qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Forklift Engineer.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Experience with electrics and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of LOLER inspections.
• Technical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repair on a wide range of forklift trucks and equipment.
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Completing safety checks and PDI inspections.
• Organising and managing your own workload effectively.
• Completing job sheets, service reports and compliance documentation.
• Liaising with parts departments to source required components.

Job Title: Mobile Forklift Engineer

Salary: £40,000-£45,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40hrs)

Location: Cumbernauld and surrounding areas

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established and employee-focused material handling company based in Cumbernauld. Due to continued growth and an expanding workload, they are looking to add another engineer to their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
• Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections (PDI)
• Organising and managing your own workload effectively
• Accurately completing job sheets, service reports and compliance documentation
• Liaising with parts departments to source required components

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Forklift Engineer
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
